Inclusion Criteria
1. Patients aged =18 years old
2. Patients who have had their first CABG surgery
3. Patients could read, write, and communicate verbally in Arabic
4. Patients who have access to a telephone
Exclusion Criteria
1. Surgery for cardiac valve repair
2. Patients with major postoperative complications such as stroke, serious wounds, infections, pulmonary emboli, and renal illnesses

Name Time Method 1. Self-care Behaviors measured using a self-administered instrument at baseline, week 1 and week 3 post-discharge<br>2. Learning Needs measured using a survey at week 1 and week 3 post-discharge<br> 3. Knowledge of self-care behavior measured using the self-care behavior knowledge inventory (KI) at baseline, week 1, and week 3<br> 4. Severity of symptoms measured using the symptoms inventory (SI) at baseline, week 1, and week 3
