- •a)Diagnosed COPD, stage 1 & 2 as per GOLD criteria of spirometry (Annexure-VII), attending Out-patient & In-patient department, V.P.S.V Ayurveda College hospital, Kottakkal and OPD of Amala Institute of
- •Medical Sciences, Thrissur b)Participants fit for Snehapana, Virechana (therapeutic purgation) and RasÄ?yana c)Participants providing written consent.

- •Diagnosed cases of allergic asthma, TB, bronchiectasis, malignancy.
- •Pregnant and lactating women.
- •Current Smokers
- •History of Status asthmaticus / history of recent hospitalization /severe symptoms.
- •Participants with Peak Expiratory Flow Rate <50 %
