1)Patients who give informed consent.
2) American society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I/II/ III patients
3) Patients with femur fractures (intertrochanteric fracture, subtrochanteric fracture, Neck of femur fracture, Hip replacement surgery) being operated electively under spinal anesthesia
4) Patients aged between 20-80 year and of either gender
1) Allergy or contraindication to drugs used in study.
2) Puncture site infection
3) Pregnant females and lactating mothers.
4) Patients with known history of peripheral neuropathy.
5) Patients with multiple fractures.
