Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\)Patients who give informed consent.
- •2\) American society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I/II/ III patients
- •3\) Patients with femur fractures (intertrochanteric fracture, subtrochanteric fracture, Neck of femur fracture, Hip replacement surgery) being operated electively under spinal anesthesia
- •4\) Patients aged between 20\-80 year and of either gender
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\) Allergy or contraindication to drugs used in study.
- •2\) Puncture site infection
- •3\) Pregnant females and lactating mothers.
- •4\) Patients with known history of peripheral neuropathy.
- •5\) Patients with multiple fractures.
