Inclusion Criteria
Women diagnosed with GDM based on the 2-hour 75 g oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) using the criteria defined by the WHO were included.
Exclusion Criteria
Women with multiple pregnancies, having other associated medical disorder as heart disease, bronchial asthma & hypertension and pregnancies complicated by fetal malformations were excluded from the study.
