Presence of more than one Miller class I or II buccal gingival recession defects not exceeding 3mm in depth (Miller 1985)
No Medication known to interfere with periodontal tissue health / healing (steroids, Ca channel blockers, antiepileptic agents, immunosuppresants)
No Contraindications for periodontal surgery
Non-smoker (Never smoker) or former smoker (Does not smoke now and has not smoked at all for a minimum of the last 12 consecutive months)
Systemic chronic conditions known to be associated with periodontitis or with changes in systemic inflammation: Diabetes, Cardiovascular diseases, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Rheumatic Fever, SLE, Malignancy, Respiratory diseases, Renal diseases, Other (e.g., autoimmune diseases, fungal infections, immunological deficiencies, etc.)
Pregnant / Lactating mothers
Patients with orthodontic therapy in progress
Previous History of periodontal disease
Presence of Malocclusion
