Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patient undergoing elective infraumblical extraperitoneal surgery under general anaesthesia.2\.Age between 1yr\-6yr.
- •3\.ASA Grade I\-II
- •4\.Those whose parents are willing to give written consent .
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Surgery constraining postoperative fluid intake.
- •2\.Known digestive pathology predisposing to PONV(eg.hiatal hernia and gastro\-oesophageal reflux)
- •3\.Parents refusal.
- •4\.Enrolment in another study.
