Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •The participants were adults over the age of 19 years who met the research diagnostic criteria for chronic insomnia according to the International Classification of Sleep Disorders – 3, and who were diagnosed after face\-to\-face interviews and structured questionnaires with a neurologist (JWS) in the outpatient sleep clinic at their first visit.
Exclusion Criteria
- •\-cognitive decline(Mimi\-Mental State Exam, MMSE \< 24\)
- •\- uncontrolled psychiatric conditions requiring immediate treatment outside of the study, including a current major depressive episode within 4 weeks
