Patients newly diagnosed to have tuberculosis with either AFB staining or Gene Xpert analysis or newly diagnosed to have Extrapulmonary Tuberculosis with any of the following reports: Lymph node FNAC or Biopsy report, Pleural fluid analysis report, CSF Gene Expert report and who are willing to give consent will be included.
Patients with chronic liver disease or chronic kidney disease
Patients receiving vitamin D supplementation
Patients with HIV positive status
Patients with Type 1 diabetes mellitus
Patients on anti-epileptic medication
