1. Patients diagnosed with Mental and behavioural disorders due to use of alcohol, dependence syndrome as per ICD-10 (DCR).
2. Age range of 18 to 45 years.
3. Male participant will be included.
4. Literate
5. As per Readiness to change-Treatment version Scale if stage of motivation is pre con- templation or contemplation stage
6. As per Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment of Alcohol Scale, Revised (CIWA- Ar) <10 for 7-8 days or daily assessment.
1. Those who are currently in Delirium, actively suicidal or with serious psychopathology.
2. History of any other substance use except nicotine and caffeine
3. Those who have any other comorbid psychiatric illness apart from mild depression
4. and mild anxiety as per ICD-10 DCR.
5. Participants should not be exposed to other psychological intervention except psychoeducation during the study period.
