Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Health file in the health center
- •At least 1 year has passed since the diagnosis
- •severe complications of type 2 diabetes (kidney disease, retinal damage and blindness, diabetic foot problems and amputation)
- •Literacy for reading and writing
- •Limited health literacy
- •Failure to participate in diabetes education classes
- •Being treated with various diabetes medications
- •Willingness to participate in the study
Exclusion Criteria
- •Unwillingness to continue participating in the study
- •Failure to participate in training sessions for more than one session
- •Having severe complications of diabetes (kidney disease, retinal damage and blindness, diabetic foot problems and amputation) during the study.
