Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Written declaration of consent by the study participant
  • \- Age\> 18 years
  • \- ASA risk classification I \- III
  • \- Elective surgery with inpatient treatment
  • \- Elective surgical intervention with established perioperative standard of care through the use of a
  • Regional anesthesia procedure with possibly additive analgesic sedation

Exclusion Criteria

  • \- Refusal to participate in the study
  • \- Age \<18 years
  • \- ASA risk classification IV
  • \- Outpatient procedure
  • \- emergency intervention
  • \- Operation under general anesthesia or combined general anesthesia with regional anesthesia
  • \- Rejection of a regional anesthetic procedure
  • \- Obstetric interventions (cesarean section / obstetric epidural anesthesia)
  • \- Known epilepsy
  • \- Known addiction to drugs or sedative medication
