- •- Sanders type 2 calcaneal fractures. closed
- •- Undergoing surgical treatment
- •- Ability to understand and agree to informed consent

- •- Patients < 18 years of age
- •- Open calcaneal fractures
- •- Previous calcaneus abnormality or injury
- •- Patients with concomitant severe brain & spine injury
- •- Unable to understand or agree to informed consent
