Inclusion Criteria
Skeletally mature patients = 18 years of age
- Sanders type 2 calcaneal fractures. closed
- Undergoing surgical treatment
- Ability to understand and agree to informed consent
Exclusion Criteria
- Patients < 18 years of age
- Open calcaneal fractures
- Previous calcaneus abnormality or injury
- Patients with concomitant severe brain & spine injury
- Unable to understand or agree to informed consent
