入排标准
入选标准
- •1. Age 15 â?? 65 years
- •2. Both sexes
- •3. Newly diagnosed cases of hypothyroidism (serum TSH 4.70 µIU/ml or higher)
- •4. Literate patients; ability to read Bengali/English
- •5. Providing written informed consent
排除标准
- •1. Patients already undergoing Levothyroxine sodium therapy for hypothyroidism [may be included if can be kept in a wash-out phase of 14 days]
- •2. TSH above 12 µIU/ml
- •3. Patients suffering from congenital hypothyroidism
- •4. Patients with psychiatric diseases
- •5. Pregnancy and lactation
- •6. Cases suffering from any other uncontrolled systemic illness or life-threatening infections or any vital organ failure
- •7. Cases already undergoing homeopathic treatment for any chronic diseases
- •8. Self-reported immune-compromised state
- •9. Substance abuse and/or dependence
