a) a primary diagnosis of cervical radiculopathy; (b) no prior cervical epidural steroid injection; (c) a cross-sectional imaging study (either CT or MRI) of the cervical spine in patients with diagnoses of spinal stenosis, a herniated nucleus pulposus, ossification of posterior longitudinal ligament, and/or a degenerative spinal disorder.
The exclusion criteria included any contraindications for cervical epidural block, such as an unacceptable coagulation profile, prior neck surgery, a current infection, and/or an inability to flex or extend the neck.
