1.Patients aged > 18 years (as of last birthday)
2.Patients presenting with a class II or class V cavity involving dentin.
1.Patients with any gross oral pathology
2.Patients with any chronic diseases
3.Patients with advanced periodontal disease
4.Patients with tooth mobility greater than grade 1
5.Teeth that had extensive/defective restorations (including prosthetic crowns)
6.Patients with cavities too close to the pulp as revealed by radiographic examination
7.Patients with signs of periapical radiolucency
8.Patients with cracked enamel
9.Subjects participating in any other clinical study or a desensitizing study, or who had used any desensitizing agents within the previous three months.
