简要总结
Warts are common benign skin growths caused by viral infection and are seen in all age groups. Conventional treatments mainly focus on local destruction of the lesion and are often associated with recurrence and adverse effects. Homoeopathy treats warts through individualized internal medicines based on totality of symptoms. Synthesis repertory is an expanded repertory that provides detailed rubrics and cross references which may help in accurate remedy selection. This prospective case series study aims to evaluate the usefulness of Synthesis repertory in the management of warts with individualized homoeopathic medicines. Thirty patients suffering from warts will be selected from outpatient departments and peripheral camps based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Remedies will be prescribed after repertorization using Synthesis repertory and confirmed with materia medica. Patients will be followed up regularly and improvement will be assessed using a warts assessment scale along with changes in size symptoms and recurrence. The study intends to assess the clinical utility of Synthesis repertory as a tool in effective homoeopathic management of warts.
