入选标准
- •Receiving ciprofloxacin therapy as part of standard care for a (suspected) bacterial infection; urinary tract infection, pneumonia, wound infection, sepsis, abdominal infection or other infection.
- •Age * 18 years and admitted to a general ward of the AMC.
排除标准
- •Incapacitated patients.
- •Treatment with ciprofloxacin is started elsewhere.
- •Hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis during treatment with ciprofloxacin.
- •Ciprofloxacin given as prophylactic treatment and not as a treatment of a (suspected) infection.
- •Patients admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU).
- •Severely burned patients, defined as a burned surface *10%.
- •Persons who cannot speak and read the English or Dutch language.

Target attainment of ciprofloxacin as infection prophylaxis during chemotherapy-induced neutropenia in patients treated for haematological malignancies.All patients receiving ciprofloxacin prophylaxis as standard care will be included, regardless of treatment with different cytostatic agents, regardless of the severity of adverse effects of the treatment (in particular mucositis) and regardless of the degree and duration of neutropenia, as long as ciprofloxacin is recommended as infection prophylaxis within the applied treatment protocol.NL-OMON20490Amsterdam UMC - location Academic Medical Centre (AMC), University of Amsterdam46
