- •1\.previous ocular surgery except for laser photocoagulation and intravitreal or subtenon injection 2\.active ocular infection or inflammation 3\. continuous use of topical ocular medications 4\. daily contact lens wearing over a month in the last five years 5\. a history of cranial nerve injury 6\. ocular or systemic diseases known to affect the tear film 7\. use of systemic drugs known to affect the tear film
