Inclusion Criteria

1. Age 35-85 years old
2. Severe OA knee (KL III-IV) with chronic knee pain > 3 mo.
3. Failure to conservative treatments including physical therapy and non-opioid analgesics
4. Ability to use methoxyflurane inhaler

Exclusion Criteria

1. Refusal patients
2. BW < 45 kg
3. Allergy to any study medication (fluorinated anesthetics, lidocaine, steroid)
4. Personal or family history of malignant hyperthermia
5. Cardiorespiratory disease e.g. arrhythmia, ischemic heart disease, chronic lung disease
6. Hepatic/renal dysfunction
7. Seizure disorder
8. Uncontrolled bleeding disorder
9. Poorly controlled psychiatric condition including active substance use disorder and personality disorder
10. Un-cooperated patients
