Name Time Method Point Prevalence Study with primary endpoints:<br>- number of central venous catheterisations performed on one day all over Germany and<br>- incidence of various and especially serious mechanical complications and consequences for the patients concerned.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Prevention of mechanical complications by applying<br>ultrasound technology during the access procedure and optimising the position of the CVC tip (ECG-guidance, echocardiography, CXR).
