Patients with functional dyspepsia or gastroduodenal ulcer with indication of eradication of Helicobacter pylori infection
Ability and willingness to participate in study and to give informed consent
Verification of Helicobacter pylori infection by endoscopic pathological specimen
Previous eradication of Helicobacter pylori
Use of antibiotics, PPI or chemotherapy during 4 weeks prior to study
Patients with a history of gastrectomy or Complicated Peptic Ulcer.
Pregnant and lactating women
Patients with renal failure and heart failure

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Fecal antigen reduction. Timepoint: Helicobacter pylori eradication was assessed at least 2 months after the end of antibiotic treatment and at least 2 weeks after omeprazole discontinuation via fecal antigen. Method of measurement: Fecal testing.
