Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\) Patients with ASA I,II,III GRADE
  • 2\) Patients with schedule of surgery for more than 2 hours

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Undergoing surgeries of oral cavity and pharynx with anticipated difficult airway.
  • 2\. Use of nasogastric tube and throat packs.
  • 3\. History of smoking, history of Bronchial Asthma and COPD.
  • 4\. Using corticosteroids before surgery.
  • 5\. Intubation attempts more than once.
  • 6\. Patient refusal in participation in the study.
  • 7\. Hypersensitivity to local anaesthetics.
