Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Age between 18 to 80 years of age and American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Physical Status Class I, II and III.
- •2\.Patients undergoing exploratory laparotomy by midline incision for colorectal cancer surgery.
- •3\.Patients giving consent for the procedure
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Infection at injection site
- •2\.Allergy to local anesthetics
- •3\.Coagulation disorders
- •4\.Severe obesity (BMI \> 40\)
- •5\.Physical or mental diseases which could interfere with the evaluation of pain scores.
- •6\.Kidney failure
- •7\.Liver failure
