Inclusion Criteria

Children aged between 2 years and 12 years of age with Gartland type III supracondylar humerus fracture who present within 72 hours of injury requiring closed reduction and pinning.

Exclusion Criteria

Fractures requiring open reduction(either for achieving reduction or neurovascular exploration).

Supracondylar fracture which extends from superomedial to inferolateral aspect.

Supracondylar fractures with intercondylar extension.

Supracondylar fracture with associated Medial comminution

Associated ipsilateral limb injuries
