Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Tooth with necrotic pulp at the start of treatment
  • •\- Root growth not yet completed, apex at least 1 mm open
  • •\- Consent of the patient / legal guardian to participate in the study
  • •\- Patient has reached the age of 6 years

Exclusion Criteria

  • •\- Patients who are unable to give consent due to a disability
  • •\- Patients with chronic systemic diseases
  • •\- Allergy to an antibiotic that is used
  • •\- Periodontal disease
  • •\- Teeth with root fracture at initial presentation
  • •\- Signs of internal or external resorption at the start of treatment
  • •\- Drug, alcohol consumption
  • •\- Nicotine abuse
  • •\- Lack of compliance
  • •\- No consent to study participation by patient or legal guardian
