- •Arm 1: For the secondary data analysis, nationwide data of all insured persons with dementia or a mild cognitive disorder over the age of 18 from the participating health insurance funds who had a corresponding diagnosis in the period 2019-2022 are analysed. Data from 2019-2023 is analysed so that a follow-up of at least 12 months is available for each insured person.
- •Arm 2: People over the age of 18 who reside in one of the eight regions of interest and are insured with one of the participating health insurers and have a diagnosis of dementia or mild cognitive impairment.
- •Arm 3: People over the age of 18 with dementia or mild cognitive impairment who reside in one of the eight regions of interest or relatives of people with dementia or mild cognitive impairment.
- •Arm 4: People who have extensive knowledge of the regional treatment structures and the regional care situation in the care of people with dementia and therefore have specific regional expertise.
