•Antenatal women between 24 to 28 weeks of gestation as calculated by Last Menstrual Period (LMP) recorded on Mother and Child Protection Card (MCP).
•Residents of urban slums and resettlement area of Gokalpuri for atleast past 6 months
•Reporting to the antenatal clinic (ANC) of UHTC Gokalpuri.
Diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus before pregnancy
Diagnosed with chronic renal disease or pancreatic disease
On treatment with steroids or drugs known to cause dysglycemia during the study period.

- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method 1. To study the associated risk factors of Gestational Diabetes Mellitus among the study subjects. <br/ ><br>2. To assess the awareness of Gestational Diabetes Mellitus among the antenatal women using pre- tested interview schedule <br/ ><br>3. To assess the awareness of Gestational Diabetes Mellitus among ASHAs by conducting a Focus Group Discussion (FGD). <br/ ><br>Timepoint: Till saturation of FGD is achieved
