1. Clinical suspicion of a scaphoid fracture;
2. Normal hand/wrist radiographs;
Exclusion Criteria
1. Other fractures in the affected extremity;
2. Multi trauma patients;

Name Time Method The main objective of this study is to evaluate the use of ultrasonography in detection of occult scaphoid fractures. Sensitivity, specificity and positive and negative predictive values for ultrasonography in comparison with a CT-scan.
