Overview
Brief Summary
All hand sanitizers reduced the number of bacteria 10 minutes after use, although the reduction was not statistically significant. Twenty minutes after use there was a significant reduction in the number of bacteria after using a sanitizer containing capric acid, and the number of microbes at this time point was reduced from the use of the hand sanitizer containing a quaternary ammonium compound.
