A combination of Quadriceps and VMO muscle strengthening in patients with patellofemoral pain had no adverse event. At 8 weeks follow-up, patients in both groups had improved clinical outcomes in VAS and the Kujala Anterior Knee Pain score. There are statistical difference between 2 group in VAS and Thigh Circumference that Quadriceps and VMO Group Improve more than Quadriceps Exercise Alone. However there is no statistical different between both group in Kujala Anterior Knee Pain Scale.

positive eccentric step down test
pain VAS >= 3
History of meniscal injury
History of Patellar tendinopathy
Previous trauma
coagulopathy
previous knee surgery
neuromuscular disorder patient
malalignment of affected knee
