patients with first stroke
- stroke patients diagnosed by computerized tomography (CT) or Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) according to the World Health Organization (WHO) criteria (Hatano, 1976) within a month
- patients whose age is 19 years or older
- patients who have abnormal result in Pulmonary Function Test
- patients with declined general condition
- patients with severe cognitive impairment or aphasia who cannot afford to take intensive and progressive respiratory rehabilitation
