Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Age \> 18 years
- •2\.Patients diagnosed with acute pancreatitis (according to Revised Atlanta classification
- •3\.Mild to moderate acute pancreatitis (BISAP score \<2\)
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Pregnancy, Breastfeeding
- •2\. Poor appetite for reasons other than AP such as depression, oral ulcers etc.
- •3\. Abdominal pain lasting \>72 hours before admission
- •4\. Carcinoma of pancreas
- •5\. Aetiology of AP such as Post surgery/ERCP/Trauma
- •6\. Known or suspected case of chronic pancreatitis
- •7\. Severe/critical AP on admission
