Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Female asylum seeker or refugees:
- •1\. Group 1: who have of a child born as a direct result of sexual violence (a child born of sexual violence is any child by the mother reported to have been conceived as a result of intercourse against the woman\*s will);2\. Group 2: who have experienced trauma related to war (e.g. the death of a family member, witnessing violence, personal attacks, in their country of origin, during migration or as an asylum seeker/refugee); or;3\. Group 3: who have experienced sexual violence, but did not conceive a child as a result (sexual violence is defined as intercourse against the woman's will, being forced to undress, molestation, and other unwanted sexual acts).;4\. whose child is aged between 0 \- 12 years.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. The mother is presenting with severe alcohol and/or substance abuse, severe mental retardation, an acute psychotic disorder, or any organic mental disorder.;2\. The child is diagnosed with a pervasive developmental disorder, e.g. autism; or mental retardation.
