Videolaryngoscopy is a new generation tool for tracheal intubation, its advantage such as easier to see the larynx, easy operation, and the higher first attempt success rate. These advantages making the video laryngoscopy been widely used in various occasions with endotracheal intubation such as operation room, emergency room and intensive care unit, etc.. The current study found that the limitation of video laryngoscopy include frequent glottis advance deviation and therefore may be associated with pharyngeal injury. The aim of this study is to test whether the new Midline approach endotracheal intubation can improve the accuracy of one-time delivery, providing faster and safer intubation. This study was designed to compare the effects of the new "Midline approach endotracheal intubation versus the traditional Lateral approach endotracheal intubation’ by experienced anesthesiologists and novice anesthetic trainee to operate Video laryngoscopy in a simple and difficult intubation manikins , to understand whether the ‘Midline approach endotracheal intubation’ can have a better first attempt success rate of intubation and better safety than conventional ones.
