Inclusion Criteria

Elderly patients with American Society of Anesthesiology Physical Status II or III scheduled for open colorectal surgeries.

Exclusion Criteria

Patient refusal.
Allergy to local anaesthetic drugs or any included medications.
Coagulopathy or patients on anti-coagulant.
Preoperative cognitive dysfunction.
Contraindications to epidural analgesia or QLB.
Body mass index (BMI) > 35.
