Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.All patients with greater than 35 years of age having chronic kidney disease undergoing haemodialysis.
- •2\.All the patients should have seven or more remaining teeth and be willing to participate and sign the informed consent
- •Group I Periodontally healthy patients as assessed by Gingival index less than 1 and pocket probing depth less than 3mm
- •no clinical attachment loss.
- •Group II Patients with chronic gingivitis as assessed by Gingival index greater than or equal to 1
- •pocket probing depth less than 3mm and no clinical attachment loss.
- •Group III Patients with chronic periodontitis as assessed by gingival index greater than or equal to 1
- •pocket probing depth greater than or equal to 5mm and
- •Clinical attachment loss greater than or equal to 5mm.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Smokers alcoholics
- •2\.Subject with any stated acute infection.
- •3\.Pregnancy or lactating mother or patients with gestational diabetes.
- •4\.Patients who have undergone periodontal treatment in past 6 months.
