Inclusion Criteria
Patients who
1. had symptoms and physical examination associated with CTS
2. had a nerve conduction study of mild to moderate CTS
3. were willing to join the study
Exclusion Criteria
1) CTS previously treated with steroid injection or surgery;
2) history of hand or wrist injury;
3) diagnosed as cervical radiculopathy or peripheral neuropathy;
4) underlying disorders resulting from poorly controlled DM;
5) pregnancy; and
6) other metabolic diseases.
