Inclusion Criteria

1) 14-15 years of age;
2) good in general and oral health;
3) 28 permanent teeth fully erupted;
4) no orthodontic banding or removable prosthesis;
5) having cariogenic bacteria in dental plaque;
6) no salivary gland disorders;
7) no temporomandibular disorders;
8) not take antibiotics and any medications likely to affect the salivation

Exclusion Criteria

1) unable to participate in the experiments throughout the study periods;
2) unable to follow the study protocol
