Undergoing elective caesarean section

Exclusion Criteria

Allergic reactions to ephedrine or phenylephrine
High blood levels of bilirubin
HELPP syndrome
Preeclampsia (pregnancy-induced hypertension)
Non-singleton pregnancies.
