Inclusion Criteria
1. Evans types 1 and 2
2. Internal fixation by Dynamic Hip Screw
Exclusion Criteria
1.Fractures managed with cephalomedullary nails or other surgical modalities.
2.Use of antiplatelet agents or anticoagulants at the time of admission
3.History of cardiac disease or cerebrovascular diseases
4. Documented allergy to TXA
5.History of DVT or pulmonary embolus
6.Hepatic dysfunction
7.Renal dysfunction
8.Derangement of blood coagulation parameters
9.History of malignancy
