Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Persistent lower back pain after atleast 3 months of appropriate medical treatment
  • •Clinically proven facet joint arthropathy

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Patient refusal
  • •Known allergy to local anaesthetics or contrast dye
  • •History of coagulopathy and anticoagulant intake
  • •History of psychiatric illness
  • •Anatomic deformity
  • •Pain extending below the knee joint
  • •Leg pain \>back pain
  • •Any permanent neurological deficit
  • •Any radiologically proven cause of low back pain i.e. pottâ??s spine , metastasis.
  • •BMI \> 30 kg/m2
