Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Geplant 600 participants, but as the reason of time challenge we made a stratified random sampling (two Groups\- ICU Admission, n\=104 vs. non\-ICU admission, n\=201\)
- •In this study, a total of 305 patients aged \>18 years who showed a physical status of ASA II–III and underwent elective and non\-elective surgery during January to December 2019 in our clinic (Klinik für Anästhesie und Operative Intensivmedizin\-medius KLINIK NÜRTINGEN), were selected.
- •ASA IV was excluded because the sample patients did not belong to the two study groups.

Phase 1
Circulatory stability during start of general anesthesia administered with propofol an remifentanil. The effects of prophylactic ephedrine, phenylephrine, norepinephrine versus placebo.Ephedrine, phenylephrine and norepinephrine are vasopressors used during anesthesia to treat hypotension. These agents raise blood pressure, but may have different effects on circulation as measured by changes in stroke volume, heart rate, cardiac output and total peripheral resistance. There is limited research of the circulatory effects during induction of general anesthesia with propofol and remifentanil.Therapeutic area: Body processes [G] - Circulatory and Respiratory Physiological Phenomena [G09]EUCTR2019-000965-19-NOHelse Fonna128
