Inclusion Criteria

1. Males or females = 18 years of age with a minimum of 25 teeth

2. Baseline mean whole-mouth plaque index = 1.0

3. Baseline mean whole-mouth modified gingival index = 1.0

4. Baseline mean whole-mouth modified sulcular index = 1.0

5. Ability to provide written informed consent and comply with

study visits as described in the protocol, and

6. Availability for follow up via telephone.

Exclusion Criteria

1. Pregnant females

2. Participation in another clinical trial

3. History of periodontitis

4. History of any systemic diseases or conditions
