入选标准
- •Patients of either gender between 30-60 years of age.
- •2. Patient suffering from moderate to severe chronic periodontitis.
- •ï?· Moderate: 3-4mm of clinical attachment loss on more than 30% of sites
- •ï?· Severe : >=5mm of clinical attachment loss on more than 30% of sites
- •(Gary C. Armitage Ann Periodontol 1999)
- •3. Presence of minimum of 2 teeth in contralateral quadrants with probing depth >= 5mm and <=7mm, clinical attachment loss >= 3mm and presence of bleeding on probing on at least one site.
排除标准
- •1- Patients suffering from aggressive periodontitis.
- •2- Patients with systemic diseases and complications
- •3- History of smokers and tobacco chewers
- •4- Patients who have undergone periodontal therapy during last 6 month
- •5- Pregnant and lactating mothers
- •6- History of antibiotic therapy in last 6 months
