入排标准
入选标准
- •1. Both male and female between age group 18- 35 years. (general population as well as runners.)
- •2. Pain on activities like prolonged sitting, stair climbing, squatting, running, kneeling and hopping/ jumping in anterior compartment of knee. At least 2 of the following should be present.
- •3. The score on VAS must be minimum 4/10.
- •4. Positive result of vastus medialis co-ordination test, Clarkeâ??s test and lateral pull test.
- •5. Insidious onset of symptoms which should be non-traumatic pain.
排除标准
- •1. Signs and symptoms of meniscal or other intra- articular injury conditions.
- •2. Cruciate or collateral ligament injury
- •3. Tenderness over the patellar tendon, iliotibial band or pes anserinus tendons.
- •4. A history of patellar dislocation.
- •5. Degenerative changes.
- •6. Positive patellar apprehension sign for patellar stability.
- •7. No periarticular effusion/ bursitis.
- •8. Knee surgery/ injury.
- •9. No steroids for 3 months prior to the intervention.
- •10. Chronic Osgood- Schlatter/ Sinding lrsen- Johanssen syndrome.
- •11. Pain radiating from lumbar or hip joint.
