Patient presenting sign and symptoms of pratishyaya mention in ayurvedic classics and patients of chronic sinusitis according to AAO HNSF guideline
twelve weeks or longer of two or more of the following sign and symptoms
mucopurulent drainage anterior posterior or both
nasal obstruction congestion
facial pain pressure fullness
decreased sense of smell
and inflammation is documented by one are more of the following findings
purulent mucus or edema in the middle meatus or anterior ethemoid region
polyps in nasal cavity are the middle meatus
radio graphic imaging show inflammation of para nasal sinuses
patient having systemic disease such as diabetes mellitus hypertension hypothyroidism
patient suffering from gross deviation of nasal septum nasal tumors adenoidal hyperplasia asthama bhronchitits
any anatomical nasal deformities
pregnant and lactating woman
