This is a Pilot and an Interventional study. The SI joint, connecting the spine and pelvis, is responsible for stability and distributing trunk stress to the lower limbs. Sacroiliac joint dysfunction (SIJD) is a common cause of lower back pain, affecting 15-40% of individuals. Low-level laser therapy (LLL) is a non-invasive, safe treatment option for musculoskeletal disorders, offering simplicity, cost-effectiveness, and convenience. ESWT, a novel, non-invasive, secure, and reasonably priced approach, improves bone, tendon, and soft tissue regeneration and repair. This intervention study investigates the effect of two electrotherapy modalities laser therapy and extracorporeal shockwave therapy on sacroiliac joint pain checking the range of motion, pain, and overall quality of life among sweepers aged 20-50 years old. This study assesses the prevalence of SI Joint pain in this population. It explores its association with the pain (visual analogue) scale and overall quality of life (via the SF 36 Health Survey). Participants with any open wound, or recent spinal surgeries are excluded. participants will be randomly assigned to either experimental group. Participants should be divided into two groups. 15-15 subjects will be placed in each group.

Laser Therapy Group: Equipment: Use a low-level laser therapy (LLLT) device, adhering to established protocols.

Treatment Protocol: Administer 6 sessions over 2 weeks (3 sessions per week).Each session will last 15–20 minutes, focusing on the sacroiliac joint and surrounding areas

Shockwave Therapy Group: Equipment: Use an ESWT device, adhering to established protocols.

Treatment Protocol:

Administer 6 sessions over 2 weeks (3 sessions per week).

Each session will last 10-15 minutes, focusing on the sacroiliac joint and surrounding areas.

The finding of the RCT will be improving the Range of Motion, Quality of Life, or alleviating pain among patients with persistent SI Joint pain. By incorporating patients’ perceptions of changes, the study provided a holistic understanding of the intervention’s impact on individuals’ subjective experiences and overall well-being.

入选标准

  • Individual with persistent lower back pain(more than 3 months).
  • 2.Individual must be an actively sweepers.
  • Both male and female patients will be included in the study.

排除标准

  • 1.Patient with any surgery of sacrum fracture.
  • 2..Participants with cognitive impairments or psychiatric conditions affecting their ability to provide informed consent.
  • 3.Individual not willing to participate.
  • 4.Presence of infections or significance skin condition in the area to be treated with laser therapy.
