  • •2\. major abdominal surgery for gastrointestinal malignancies
  • •defined as:
  • •3\. Minimally\-invasive or open surgery
  • •4\. Written informed consent
  • •5\. Ability and willingness to respond to questionnaires

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. ASA \> 4
  • •2\. Impaired mental state or language problems
