  • •Signed informed consent
  • •\- Clinical indication for electroconvulsive therapy

Exclusion Criteria

  • •\- Acute or chronic severe neurological disorder apart of epilepsy;
  • •\- Acute or chronic severe systems disease;
  • •\- dementia;
  • •\- Organic affective disorder;
  • •\- Substance abuse apart of nicotine;
  • •\- Lack of insight to treatment and study or forced hospitalization as of laws of lower\-saxonia for the mentally ill (§1906 BGB)
